The Trek to Boise: We made it!!

After 10 more hours of driving on Day 2, we finally made it to Boise, ID. It was a long day, but well worth it, as it feels really good to be home.

My Dad was a trooper, powering through the drive, even though he wasn't too comfortable being crammed into my Ford Focus. He managed. Thank God for Sirius Satellite Radio and the beauty of the scenic mountains in Utah.

Cajun is out in her new back yard, runnin' free and pickin' up all the new scents. That, in and of itself, is worth every minute of that drive. She has a yard. She can play in it all she wants. She can be every bit of her doggie self, and she is soooo happy.

Now, let's just hope that the movers follow suit in the next few days. Can't wait to move my stuff in and really call this place home.
